Mario
Kart.
Everybody loves Mario Kart. And if you don’t, you’re
weird. But if for some strange and completely illegitimate reason
you don’t know what Mario Kart is, I shall explain. Mario
Kart is a highly addictive Kart Racing game involving most of
the charming characters from Nintendo’s lucrative Mario
Intellectual Property (IP). Using your finest driving skills and a
host of crazy weaponry you must race around dozens of tracks and
arenas with the goal of winning by any means possible – Mario
Kart: DS is set to feature sixteen new tracks as well as
sixteen “favorites” from the previous editions, as well as a
whole host of new weaponry. This game has graced numerous Nintendo
consoles in many forms and is finally making its way to the
NintendoDS in all its manic glory. Except this time, it features
online-play.
Nintendo
vow that "Mario
Kart: DS will be the first Wi-Fi connection game in the UK”,
imagine that, the ability to play Mario Kart against people
from all over the world from any Wi-Fi Hot-Spot. And there’s more
great news for any NintendoDS owners with wireless connections at
home, Nintendo have confirmed that their Wi-Fi service is
compatible with home broadband from launch day, which boys and
girls, is November 25th. So crack out whichever
incarnation of this classic racer you have and get practicing,
because you really don’t want to lose to some seven-year-old girl
in Ohio that you don’t know and will never meet… do you?
