Today, Electronic
Theatre announces the launch of their much-anticipated new
feature; Electronic Theatre: Assets. Since the launch of Electronic
Articles in November, 2003, there has been much demand to
categorise the images available within the In-depth Reviews and
Articles. The Electronic Theatre Forum has been inundated
with requests to host an area for these images, with the subject
appearing as the most reoccurring theme on the “More
Information” and “What Would You Like?” Boards and has often
been the Thread receiving the most replies.
Public demand was only strengthened when, on September 14th, 2006, Electronic Articles launched an exclusive campaign; Wii
Day. Wii Day was a six-week feature delivering all the latest Wii
news and rumours from all over the world, and showcasing the biggest
and best of Wii’s line-up through Video Presentations. Having
established the principles of the features over time brought Electronic
Theatre into a keener position than most to launch a feature
such as Electronic Theatre: Assets.
Electronic Theatre: Assets is an online archive of all
the materials received by Electronic Theatre from publishers
and through internal photography intended for the use of marketing
the products and inclusion in the Electronic Articles
In-depth Reviews and Articles. As well as images (JPEG/GIF/Bitmap
formats), video files will be uploaded for public viewing.
Electronic Theatre: Assets features a similar
construct to Electronic Articles in order to create a running
continuity, for ease-of-use. Separated into video and image
categories for the latest published items, with the latest three
being listed continuously, the regular visitor will instantly
acknowledge which are the new items since their previous visit and
if the item is of their particular interest. Newcomers will find the
Archive System as intuitive as that featured in Electronic
Articles. Each of the item “pages” are organised by format,
selectable from the very first page of Electronic Theatre: Assets.
Electronic Theatre would like to thank our members for
the continued support throughout the production of this feature, and
look forward to a very successful future for Electronic Theatre:
Assets.
