Electronic Theatre Special: Sales Chart

Week Ending 9th September, 2006.

This week sees the Sales Charts starting to shift considerably, with Dead Rising taking Number 1 position pushing Saints Row to the Number 2 slot. Surprisingly the sequel to the ever-popular LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy gets the Number 3 spot,Electronic Theatre Image while only having been officially released Monday 11th September, when this chart is for week ending the 9th. One wonders what position it will be in next week given a full week of game sales.

Test Drive: Unlimited falls just below that at Number 4 while Disney/Pixar: Cars hangs on just in the Top 5. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and New Super Mario Bros. hang on in the Top 10 as does Dr Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain?. The Sims 2 proves expansions are ever popular with The Sims 2: Glamour Life Stuff only falling one place in the last week. Surprisingly, new release Enchanted Arms, billed as the first Eastern RPG for Xbox360, fails to reach the Top 10, coming in at a staggering 27. Madden NFL 07 is the only other new entry in the Top 20, sitting pretty at Number 15. Tune in next Friday to find out what happens; will Dead Rising be knocked off it’s top spot by LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy? Or will we have another new entry taking the top spot?
