Electronic Theatre Special: Sales Chart

Week Ending 16th September, 2006.

Well another week has come on by with not that much movement. Unsurprisingly LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy has claimed the Top-Spot, knocking Dead Rising off its perch given its first full week of sales. The Top 5 hasn’t changed all that much, with all of the Top 5 from lastElectronic Theatre Image week staying put albeit in a different order. Disney/Pixar: Cars remaining solidly in the Top 5, forcing other lesser movie tie-ins such as Monster House out of the Top 20 at the beginning of September.

The highest New Entry in the charts is Tekken: Dark Resurrection for the PSP falling below the Top Ten at Number 12, showing that although being a big title, there are not too many people who own a PSP to buy a copy of it! Yakuza for the PlayStation2 is the only other new entry in the Charts, entering at Number 20, a possible disappointment for SEGA. Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? rises in the charts to Number 6, maybe bolstered by Chris Tarrant’s face appearing on some advertising cubes and TV Spots!
