Nintendo have moved-on from illustrious pad on John
Street, into a more sedate venue, and your favourite team of writers
have been invited-in for
a sneak peak of some of the best upcoming
Wii releases.
Based in a small cul-de-sac named Percy Mews, the small
flat plays host to many Nintendo nuances. Logo-emblazed towels,
artwork and even mirrors adorn a reserved shrine to Nintendo’s
recent hardware innovations; the NintendoDS and Wii. Greeted with
food and drink, a large leather couch, two Wii units and a Wii
development kit, and three huge, High-Definition Panasonic LCD
Television’s, the
Electronic
Articles team were, quite unsurprisingly, on top-form.
Having been previously been treated to the likes of
ExciteTruck,
Trauma Center: Second Opinion and
WarioWare: Smooth Moves, you would be forgiven for thinking that
it would be incredibly difficult for Nintendo to top our previous
visit’s line-up… but you would be wrong. Super Paper Mario,
Mario Party 8 and the mighty
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
were all on the agenda, and fully-playable. You can get the full
low-down on all three titles simply by following the links below –
