Electronic Theatre Exclusive Update

No doubt, you will all have heard about the recent changes to Electronic Theatre’s format by now. As the changes in the commitments of the company manifest, certain new additions and features will become evident. You’ll notice changes simply through your usual browsing of the site, and no doubt many shall be discussed over at Electronic Theatre Forum, but that’s not what I’m here to tell you about. I’m here to tell you about the other stuff; the new, cooler features that Electronic Theatre will be bringing you in the near future, within it’s brand new site.

The first feature I’m going to discuss is one that many of you have probably been wondering why Electronic Theatre hasn’t initiated already: Weblogs. Each of the editorial team shall have their own Weblog (or Blog, as more commonly known) updated every three days (minimally) with, well, pretty much whatever they like. Beginning with myself, the new feature shall include a direct RSS Feed for immediate syndication, and automatic synchronisation with subscribers on mobile phones, through Browsers, and on iTunes. Details of how to do this shall be available when necessary.

The feature shall highlight many issues facing the modern gaming industry, whether concerning the development, retail or publishing community or simply a single aspect of a single release, but shall also be a direct route for comment and discussion for you – our readers.

I’ll bring you more next week, but as for now, rest assured that Electronic Theatre is hard at work to bring you the best that the videogames industry has to offer!

Kev J.
