THQ have announced that the first of five free downloadable Maps for
Frontlines: Fuels of War is available on XboxLIVE!.
The Map is called Boneyard and
pits Western Coalition forces against
the waning Red Star army. The battle takes place in the last
functional Red Star nuclear facility and the Coalition is assembling
fleets of armour to take the installation down. Players can join up
in fifty-player battles and will be able to make use of new weaponry
including the automatic shotgun, rocket jeep and Red Star transport
helicopter.
No details have been forthcoming on the remaining Maps; including
dates and whether the new weaponry and vehicles will be available on
each. However, with the fact that Kaos Studios are pinning their
hopes on creating a worthwhile online community, coupled with the
recent update, it’s more than likely new additions to
Frontlines: Fuels of War will become commonplace in the
short-term. |
