Electronic Theatre has received confirmation from
ATARI that the second expansion to the much-loved Neverwinter
Nights 2 PC game, Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir,
is now available for download at the UK ATARI Store for just £19.99.
“With this second expansion, we wanted to innovate and
we applied the Neverwinter Nights 2 game engine to a very
different direction. Don’t worry: the story, characters and
reactivity you expect are all still here. Storm of Zehir
tells a tale – yours – of exploration and discovery.” Claimed the
press documentation.
Instead of a single, fated character, you create and control a
party of adventurers. Players are allowed to make an entire party at
the beginning of the game with the Party Editor, and can create up
to three additional party members to join you on your quest, or
choose from several pre-generated characters. When one of your party
members hits level six, taking the "Leadership" feat will unlock a
sixth slot, allowing you to add up to two more cohorts to your
party.
Other updates include a renovated Trading System and a new Overworld
Map System. Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir was released
on disc on 21st November, 2008, and can be downloaded now
from the ATARI Store. A copy of the original Neverwinter Night 2
is required to play Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir. |
