XboxLIVE! Arcade Additions

There’s a new addition to the Party Game line-up on Xbox360, Rocky and Bullwinkle is available exclusively on XboxLIVE! Arcade, along with an Electronic Theatre Imageenhanced version of the ATARI’s action classic, Battlezone, this Wednesday, 16th April, at 9:00am.

Based on the popular US cartoon series of the 1960’s, Rocky and Bullwinkle on XboxLIVE! Arcade is a fast and fun party experience packed with more than 100 Mini-Games. Eight playable characters from Frostbite Falls are back in the living room, including Rocky, Bullwinkle, Boris, Natasha, Dudley Do-Right and many more. Rocky and Bullwinkle features five difficulty settings, as well as support for up to twelve players in local Hot-Seat Mode.

The game takes visual inspiration from the 1960’s with a decidedly retro art style, but the fun is as modern as it gets. In fact, those who want to get up and move will enjoy twenty-five Mini-Games that work with the XboxLIVE! Vision Camera. By moving around and expressing gestures – like rowing a boat or throwing darts – players can control the action in the game. Rocky and Bullwinkle joins what is now considerable line-up of games orientated for the casual market, including the likes of Fuzion Frenzy 2, Scent It?: Lights, Camera, Action! and Viva Piñata: Party Animals.

Battlezone on XboxLIVE! Arcade adds exciting new Multi-Player Modes for up to two players both locally and over XboxLIVE!, including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag. To score points in Battlezone, players must shoot and destroy the enemy’s brigade including a standard enemy tank, supertank and a flying saucer. Players can also use the XboxLIVE! Vision Camera to challenge opponents on the battlefield. Combine these features with new special effects for weapon firing, impacts and explosions and this revamped version of Battlezone is likely to be a must-have classic that fans and newcomers will enjoy.

Both titles will be available from 9:00am tomorrow morning throughout Europe, with Rocky and Bullwinkle priced at 800 Microsoft Points and Battlezone distributed at 400 Microsoft Points.
