Electronic Arts has teamed up with GAME to create the ultimate videogame driving challenge, the Need For Speed SHIFT UK Championships, offering race fans the chance to win a Nissan 350gt. With heats taking place from 28th August to 20th September, the final rounds took place this weekend.

Tinchy Stryder attended the finals at Thorpe Park, testing his own driving skills and cheering on rival gamers while they raced to become the ultimate Need For Speed SHIFT champion. Throughout August and September, gamers have been putting their racing skills to the test as they competed in GAME stores across the UK to post the fastest lap times on new videogame Need for Speed SHIFT. Heats took place at forty-nine GAME stores, with the fastest winners going on to face off in the final yesterday at Thorpe Park.

Steven Embling emerged as the winner, and was crowned the Need for Speed SHIFT UK Champion, receiving the keys to a brand new Nissan 350gt sports car. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest on Need for Speed SHIFT.
