Yesterday, at the MCM Expo in London, Capcom revealed a grand plan for the forthcoming Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and the existing line of Monster Hunter titles. With an incredibly casual demonstration of the four-player hunts available in the new PlayStation Portable (PSP) release, Capcom subtly delivered the news of a more permanent space.
Apparently due for an official announcement this week, Capcom have secured a location to host Monster Hunter Freedom gatherings. Appropriately renamed The Gathering Hall, The Lazarides Gallery at Charing Cross, London, will provide three floors with the capacity for well over one hundred gamers for nothing less than entire days of monster hunting.
Due to launch on July 1st, 2009, The Gathering Hall will be open daily from 10:00 (10:00am) GMT til 20:00 (08:00pm), and later on Thursdays, for two months. Drinks, artwork and comfortable seating will be provided, though the price of admission is bringing along your own PSP and a copy of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.
Electronic Theatre was hands-on at the MCM Expo, and will bring you details of the multi-player aspect of Monster Hunter Freedom later this very day.

I'm getting MHFU, and I'll probably go to this one day as it's free.
