With the highly-anticipated sequel to one of Wii’s most celebrated mature release, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, set to arrive across Europe later this month Electronic Theatre has decided that it’s time to honour the man behind some of videogaming’s most eccentric design. From the multiple personalities of Killer 7 to conscious breaking of the fourth wall in Contact, the inspired premise of the understated Survival Horror Michigan: Report From Hell and the unconventional character design in the conventional action Role-Playing Game (RPG) Shining Soul II, we’ll be taking a look at some of the previous works from the team at Grasshopper Manufacture throughout this month, as well as the legacy of their CEO, Goichi Suda (aka SUDA51). And of course, let’s not forget that forthcoming Wii release itself.
This month will be packed with Retro Reviews of Grasshopper Manufacture and SUDA51’s previous works, as well as feature articles about the company, their position and reputation in the UK market and a very special competition set to launch later this month. We’ll have a preview
of No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle coming soon as well as an in-depth review of the game in time for it’s European launch, plus loads more besides.
We’ll update this page as every new feature, article and review hits Electronic Theatre, so be sure to stay tuned for the best, and worst, of Grasshopper Manufacture’s story so far.
