The UK’s first Monster Hunter drop-in centre officially opened it’s doors today, as originally revealed by Electronic Theatre. The Gathering Hall is situated at 121 Charing Cross Road in central London - a stone's throw away from Tottenham Court Road tube station, and the cost of admission is a simply be to come equipped with a PlayStation Portable (PSP) and a copy of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.
Open seven days a week, from 10am till 8pm (10pm on Thursdays), the Gathering Hall will provide a safe and comfortable environment for the Monster Hunter community to meet and play together. Capcom are celebrating today’s opening by giving the first one hundred people through the door an exclusive limited-edition Monster Hunter t-shirt.
The very pleasantly received Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
received it’s first Downloadable Content (DLC) quest earlier today, along with the promise of a new quest available for free each and every Friday for the next few months.
Electronic Theatre has discussed openly on many occasions the delight we take in a publisher providing something so original – and personal – for the UK gaming audience, and while we were unfortunately unable to make the opening day, you can be sure we’ll bring you first-hand details on the Gathering Hall in the near future.
