Dennis Dyack, President of Silicon Knights, was cornered by IGN staff today, posing questions about the future of his company and their projects. Although the constant denials and reaffirming of the developers’ hatred for public displays may still hold water, it was the discussion of a sequel for the GameCube exclusive release, Eternal Darkness, that once again held the most interest.
"I get that question asked probably about once a week," he said. "You know we love Eternal Darkness. We're big fans of it. I think the future is bright in that regard, but there's no comments to make whatsoever." Commented Dyack.
While this may not exactly be confirmation,
it would be hard to suggest that the developer of the poorly-received Too Human would be unaware of the demand for a sequel, and that Dyack is now willing to even respond to the industry’s questioning is looking positive at least. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest from Silicon Knights and on the Eternal Darkness franchise.
