The Electronic Sports League (ESL), Atari and Gas Powered Games, developer of the real-time tactical game Demigod, have issued a challenge all European players to do battle against their masters. The best Demigod 3-on-3 team that emerges victorious from the Battle the Developers Cup gains the privilege to compete against the game creators around Chris Taylor.

The tournament’s sign-up period ends on July 17^th, with the tournament itself starting on July 19th. The winning team will encounter the Gas Powered Games team on Friday, August 7^th, and will also each receive a hand-signed PC version of Demigod.

The cup will be 3-on-3, on just one map. The final round will be played in best of three mode. ESL TV will cover the progress of the Battle the Developers Cup in their Demigod program.
