Electronic Arts have today released the launch trailer for the forthcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince videogame adaptation, due for release across Europe this Friday. Players will once again step into the shoes of Harry Potter, as he embarks upon his sixth year, getting off to an unusual start.

In the game of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, players will return to Hogwarts, engaging in exciting wizard duels, mixing and brewing magical ingredients in Potions Class and taking to the air to lead the Gryffindor Quidditch team to victory. Players may even get sidetracked by Ron’s romantic entanglements as they journey towards a dramatic climax and discover the identity of the Half-Blood Prince.

Set to be available on PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, PlayStation2, Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable, as well as the previously announced mobile release, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released in stores nationwide this Friday.
