Hoping to cater for those still unwilling to upgrade to the Xbox360, many Xbox games were playable at this years E3 and judging by what was on offer it seems unlikely that there’s any reason to dispose of your big black box just yet.

Electronic Theatre ImageTHQ have announced an agreement whereby the company will distribute Stubbs the Zombie: Rebel without a Pulse in PAL territories. Guaranteed to turn heads, this third-person  Action game is an original IP by Bungie Studio veterans that uses an updated Halo: Combat Evolved engine to deliver a stirring tale of one man's hunger for love, justice... and brains. The game is scheduled to be released in February 2005.

Stargate SG1: The Alliance On Hold?

Electronic Theatre Image            Late yesterday afternoon, publisher JoWood issued a press statement informing us of the cancellation of their current contract with StarGate-SG1: The Alliance developer, Perception. "The title in its current form, initially scheduled for an October 2005 release,  does satisfy neither our quality requirements nor the fans expectations. We will not release anything that does not do justice to this well known license" says Albert Seidl, CEO JoWood Productions Software AG. In recent months we have invested a lot of time and resources in helping Perception finish the development, but we now simply have lost confidence in their ability to finish this project in time and sufficient quality."

The Dead or Alive series has never been known to be quiet. Every release is noted in the press for some reason and, back in 2003, Dead or Alive: Xtreme Beach Volleyball was no exception. A surprise announcement leads to a surprisingly quick release of a game that, surprisingly, is little more than an extension to the infamous fighting series.
