It's celebration time in Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City, as we toast the 4th anniversary of the first Nintendogs game releases for Nintendo DS. Over the next four weeks (October 7th - November 3rd), you can download a different Nintendogs puppy every week, starting with a Labrador from October 7th, the official date of the 4th anniversary.
An adorable Chihuahua puppy becomes available October 14th, followed by a cute Dachshund on October 21st and finally a spotty Dalmatian on November 3rd. If you have your Wii connected to the internet, you're well on your way to receiving a cute Nintendo puppy. In order to receive letters from Nintendo with special items attached, you need WiiConnect24 turned on. You also need to ensure that the WiiConnect24 settings in Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City allow communication with other users.
WiiConnect24 is a service that keeps your
Wii console connected to the internet 24 hours a day, even if the console is in Standby Mode. This allows you to receive Channel data and messages from friends and family at any time.
For further detailed information on how to get hold of the special items, visit the Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City microsite at: http://www.nintendo.co.uk/. The Nintendogs puppies follow a range of unique items offered in Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City in recent months, including a special dirndl dress to celebrate Germany’s annual festival, and a GameCube console memento. An array of different items will be distributed over the forthcoming months, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated.
