Following the official announcement of RISK: Factions, a reinvention of the original game of strategy and world domination, earlier this week, Electronic Arts has today released the first screenshots of the game, currently in development for Xbox LIVE Arcade. RISK fans are introduced today to two of the game’s quirky factions, humans and the feline horde, as they wage war on the classic RISK map.

Developed by Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers studio Stainless Games and featuring cinematics from veteran animation studio Power House Animation, RISK: Factions will offer innovative ways of experiencing the timeless turn-based board game. With objective-based and world conquest modes, avatar awards, local and online multiplayer options and five playable factions to choose from, RISK: Factions is sure to bring hours of fun to veteran RISK strategists and newcomers alike.
