Electronic Arts have revealed that the successful Hasbro Family Game Night series of Xbox LIVE Arcade downloadable games will be making their debut at high street retail later this year on Xbox 360 alongside the retail releases of Hasbro Family Game Night 2 on Wii and Nintendo DS. Featuring videogame adaptations of six popular Hasbro games and online gameplay, Hasbro Family Game Night for Xbox 360 will be available at retail on 6th November 2009.
From the EA Casual Entertainment Label, Hasbro Family Game Night creates a whole new way for families and friends to play together.
Hasbro Family Game Night is the second console game to launch as a result of the EA/Hasbro alliance, and invites players to join Mr. Potato Head as the game room host and coach in your very own customized family game room.
Hasbro Family Game Night features the option to play classic Hasbro games in brand new and fun ways in addition to the original rules that everyone knows and loves. Hasbro Family Game Night features classic and party game modes of family favourites Connect Four, Battleship, Yahtzee, Boggle, Sorry! and the all new, Sorry! Sliders.
Hasbro Family Game Night can be played locally or taken-up a notch to challenge other Xbox LIVE players to online board game showdowns. Yahtzee offers multi-player functionality for up to four players, while Connect Four and Battleship offer multi-player capabilities for two players, similar to the traditional board-based gameplay.
Hasbro Family Game Night will be available throughout Europe on 6th November 2009 for Xbox 360, the same day that Hasbro Family Game Night 2 will launch on Wii and Nintendo DS, with a Recommended Retail Price (RRP) of £29.99. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest on the Hasbro Family Game Night series.
